These 125 gr. .300 AAC Blackout cartridges use Hornady's popular SST® (Super Shock Tip) which is designed to deliver tremendous shock on impact while expanding quickly and reliably, particularly at higher velocities.
Flat shooting and deadly accurate, it's an ideal bullet for whitetails, as well as game animals of similar-size. The SST® creates a devastatingly large wound channel.
Please note that these cartridges are intended for supersonic use and their primary purpose is to NOT be discharged while using a suppressor/silencer. If using with a suppressor/silencer it must be rated for the higher pressure levels associated with supersonic cartridges and it is recommended that the firearm have an adjustable gas system.
